Chili Hills Restaurant Edgewood - Your Destination for American and Mexican Comfort Food

There aren't alot of food places I'll give 5 stars too, although this place made me feel as if I traveled back into time and ate a home cooked meal. Sherry was my server and her knowledge, professionalism, and over all kindness was unmatched. I ordered the eggs and enchiladas plate, green sauce and beef, with the sides of beans, papitas, and bacon. Stay true to yourself Chili Hills and thank you for an incredible experience.

This is one of those hole in the walls that you hope to find. Service was amazing, atmosphere was laid back and food was memorable. We had the the huevos rancheros and the chili hills special with French toast and carne adovada. I have a feeling though that no matter what you order it's all going to be good.

My husband and I grew up around the area. We have been here many times over the years. We moved away 6 years ago and return when we can. Today, we had breakfast right at opening after being on the road all night. I had a breakfast burrito smothered in green chile (had to get my fix) and my husband had the corned beef hash and eggs. The service was amazing! The only negative I have is that the bathrooms were not clean and need some updating.

Quaint mom & pop restaurant right off route 66. Delicious food service with a smile, and clean atmosphere. They even have a coloring book for little ones

Super solid local restaurant with very good New Mexican as well as traditional American diner food. Staff are very chill and friendly, and prices are super reasonable. Breakfast burrito smothered with red and green chile is definitely recommended! Atmosphere is very homey and local town diner, which is great, just don't expect anything fancy.

Quick service, large menu, all you can eat fish on Fridays, good neighborhood diner including diner classics and new Mexican fare. Chile is not hot, but meals are good.

There was no waiting to be seated. We sat at a booth that needs to be reupholstered. The menu offered a large variety of meal choices. We got the combination plates. The portions were generous and delicious. Christine was attentive. Providing a pitcher of soda was a nice touch. We took home leftovers and we plan to return to try other meal options.

We stopped at a gas station to fill up and asked about nearby restaurants. Chili hills was recommended. We stopped at the one in Edgewood. Food was amazing. I had the chicken fried steak. It was homemade and huge, took up the entire plate, my 3 sides took an entire plate as well. (Yes I had to get a to go plate). Husband had the Duke burger, it lacked flavor but not bad overall. Service was great. Building needs updating but it’s clean and that’s more important. We will definitely be returning when we pass through the area.
